As part of USPTO’s celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, it has released a special short documentary exploring the history of intellectual property in America. Beginning with the Declaration of Independence in 1776 and taking viewers on a journey through history to the present day, this 10-minute film reveals how American innovators have played a pivotal role in shaping American society from the beginning.
